OEA Webinar – Introduction to Restorative Practices

This OEA member-facilitated webinar is an introduction to a framework for building relationships, culture and equity, shifting from the traditionally punitive, reactive model to more of a healing/repairing, proactive approach. An overview of the fundamental theory and structure, including the Restorative Practices Continuum, Social Discipline Window and Circles will be provided. There will also be resources for implementation and opportunities to reflect on action steps within participants’ own context. This session is best suited for educators in K-12 environments although some content will be addressing staff relationships and that latter content is applicable for educators at all levels.
