Prepare for the 2018-19 school year by attending this inservice, which will include the following information pertinent to all Beaverton substitutes:
Susan Rodriguez, Erica Marson and Lisa Burnett from HR will talk about licensure, sub exclusions, and the Substitute Handbook. Karen Lally, BEA Vice President, will go over new membership information, as well as the changes to the Substitute Teacher Collective Bargaining Agreement that was recently ratified and passed by the Beaverton School Board. Amber Fort, Absence Management Specialist, will explain how to maximize your opportunities for subbing jobs. Sharon Skyrdiak, from Public Safety, will pass out new ID badges.
This is also a great time to get together and socialize with your colleagues! Light refreshments will be served.
